The Nike Shox BB4 was the first basketball shoe to feature Shox cushioning and released at the same time as the popular Shox R4 runner. A breakthrough in technology, the Shox BB4 was considered at the time to be one of the greatest performance shoes to date thanks to its use of Shox and Monkey Paw technology. Responsive, lightweight, and well cushioned, the BB4 was a favorite amongst hoopers of all positions. The shoe was the first Nike worn by Vince Carter and the birth of the VC Shox line.
